Exquenda Hospital

What is Exquenda Hospital?

The Exquenda Hospital is a space that we created to generate the ideal environmental conditions so that orchids can grow.

What purpose does it have?

The objective of the Exquenda Hospital is the conservation of orchids, since they are very long-lived plants in danger of extinction, which due to lack of information and poor care easily die in the buyers' homes.

What services do you have?

Exquenda Hospital operates as follows:

-Send a photo of your orchid to see how it is.

-If necessary, leave your orchid in the store and fill out the entry form. (the cost of entry is $120 per stay)

-We carry out the necessary review and treatment.

-We send periodic videos of the evolution.

-She returns home when she is ready.

The transplant service

It consists of cleaning the roots and applying the products you need, it takes approximately 2 days, the cost is $110 per service and is separate from the pot.

Hello, I'm Emma Almanza!

I am a product designer, oriented to permaculture, I have always been in love with my country, and I find it fascinating to make products with natural and artisanal processes.

My passion

One of my greatest passions are orchids, and when I began to get to know their world I realized that there were very few natural, eco-friendly and suitable products for them.

So combining experience, knowledge and design, I made a line of products for the proper care of orchids. On this page you will find all the products that your orchid needs to live in a pot, as well as information about them and the processes I use to care for them.

My teacher

Our pots are a collaboration with my master ceramist Martin Guevara Luna, an artisan artist from Guanajuato, with more than 40 years of experience in the subject. I hope you like it, Emma
